A place to begin.
- Agree what may be copied, who is responsible, where the work happens and who may access the files.
- Practice the setup on ordinary paper. Check readable, full-size images before proceeding with the approved item.
- Keep the page order clear, record retakes or missing pages, make independent backups and check files from a backup.
Keep this in mind.
Do not force bindings, remove pages or attempt repairs. Stop for brittle or damaged material, dampness, suspected mold or uncertain handling. This is not a restoration guide.
